Cookie Policy
Effective date: April 18, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on repairhub.it.com, why we use them, and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. We also use similar technologies like localStorage and sessionStorage. Together we refer to all of these as “cookies”.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
Required for the site to work. These cannot be turned off.
next-auth.session-token— keeps you signed in.next-auth.csrf-token— protects against cross-site request forgery.next-auth.callback-url— remembers where to send you after login.rh_consent_v1— stores your cookie preferences.- Theme preference (light / dark / system).
Analytics (opt-in)
Help us understand traffic and improve the site. Loaded only after you accept.
- Google Analytics 4 —
_ga,_ga_*. Retained up to 2 years.
Advertising (opt-in)
Used to show relevant ads and measure ad performance. Loaded only after you accept.
- Google AdSense —
__gads,__gpi, IDE, NID, and related cookies set by Google ad domains.
Third-party authentication (on when used)
When you sign in with Google, Google sets cookies on its own domains to complete the OAuth flow. These are governed by Google’s privacy policy.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google’s Consent Mode v2. When you first visit, all advertising and analytics storage signals are set to denied. They switch to granted only after you click “Accept all”. If you reject, Google receives anonymized pings (no cookies) so it can still produce conversion modeling where legally allowed.
4. Managing your preferences
- Click Cookie Settings at the bottom of any page to reopen the consent banner and change your choice.
- You can also block or delete cookies at the browser level. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent login and other core features from working.
5. Do Not Track
Because there is no industry agreement on how to interpret Do Not Track signals, we currently do not respond to them. Use the cookie banner or browser controls instead.
6. Changes
When we add or remove cookies we update this page and, for significant changes, prompt you to renew your consent.
